This website is not intended for a wider public audience, so apologies if you have come upon it by accident! It is intended to act as both a personal electronic aide memoire, and an album for any family and friends who may be interested.
As well as charting the creation of our present small garden, it also records a more ambitious garden in the past, and our new project as we are taking on an allotment for the first time.
Sad to say, model railways feature heavily in our house. A simple G scale oval in the garden, a larger 00 gauge attic layout set in the 1960's Lake District and a portable one featuring some very elderly 3-rail Hornby Dublo equipment.
Welcome to my personal website, but my apologies if you are not family, friends, or model railway enthusiasts to whom I've given this web address! It means you have stumbled across this by accident. If you are interested in model railways or gardening, it might be worth a glance, but highly unlikely!
This website is entirely my own conceit, a personal aide memoire and an album of things that I enjoy. It's designed to view on a PC or lap top, but should be visible on a 'phone or tablet, if not quite as easy.
My wife, Jean, has her own website as well. When she retired from teaching, she undertook a degree in art at the University of Cumbria. Since then her paintings are exhibited and sold in galleries in north Cumbria and Carlisle.
This website gives a glimpse of some of the things I enjoy, including creating websites! I use ones like this as practice for when I am asked to do one for a charity or other local activities. I won't say that I hope you enjoy this website and find it interesting, because the chances are that it has no interest or enjoyment to anyone else! I enjoy making websites, and is purely for my own amusement.
